           WIRELESS PRINTING
The Calumet City Library's three notebook (laptop) computers for the patrons now support printing. These wireless notebook computers are also capable of accessing the Internet. They provide an alternative to the 24 PCs that are presently available in the Technology Center when the center is busy, but are also available at anytime when not in use.

Come to the library Circulation Desk and ask to check out one of our three Notebook computers. Please note: They are only available for use inside the library.

You must be 21 years of age or older, provide a qualifying Library Card, State I.D. or Drivers license to check one out. There is a fee of $1 per hour for non-residents. Residents of Calumet City are provided this service for no charge.

AUGUST BOOK SALE

A big thank you to all who volunteered to work the set-up or actual sale of this year’s Book Sale, especially Delois Davidson, Sylvia DeYoung, Deloris Kelly, Marlene Kozlowski, Jim Ostarello and Jane Rowland. Also, we would like to thank Lisa Adler of Chappaqua, NY for her generous monetary donation to the library. We greatly appreciate all our volunteers and donors. The proceeds from the Annual Book Sale are used to purchase additional materials for our library collection.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!!

Volunteers are always welcome at the Calumet City Public Library. Students requiring confirmation hours may fulfill all or part of their required service hours at the library. However, we do not accept volunteers who need to fill court-appointed hours.

Fill out a volunteer application at the Circulation Desk. Be sure to indicate the days/times you will be available. You may put in hours in any department that needs a volunteer.
